A man has admitted leaving a Plymouth businessman blinded and scarred after throwing sulphuric acid on him in a revenge attack at the wrong address.
David Phillips, 49, of Barley Lane, Hastings, East Sussex, pleaded guilty to assault causing grievous bodily harm with intent and is due to be sentenced on Friday 9 October.
The incident took place in Carrine Road, Truro on Tuesday 9 December 2014 following reports that a corrosive substance had been thrown in a man's face.
