A PLYMOUTH building contractor has been jailed for his part in a high-level council corruption scandal which cost taxpayers hundreds of thousands of pounds.
Kevin Wingrave, aged 52, bribed a senior official at Exeter City Council in order to win work for his firm.
He was jailed at Exeter Crown Court for three and a half years for his part in a fraud which cost taxpayers more than £700,000 between 2005 and 2010.
