A THUG threw a puppy to the ground "like a ball" during a prolonged attack on his partner, a court heard.
Violent George Blampey, aged 43, hurled down the 13-week-old dog before threatening the woman with a knife.
The tiny French bulldog, called Pablo, was taken to the vet with a bloodshot eye, Plymouth Crown Court heard.
Blampey pushed the woman over and held her down by her chest, leaving bruises all over her body.
