A MAN has been cleared of stealing two canoes from an electronics firm.
Alan Johnson, aged 46, had denied theft of equipment from Derriford-based SM Group (Europe) between 2010 and 2012.
Mr Johnson, of Lipson Road, attended Plymouth Crown Court for his trial a year after first appearing there.
Julia Cox, for the Crown Prosecution Service, offered no evidence against him after a review of the case.
Recorder Ian Lawrie formally recorded a not guilty verdict.
