A MAN has been charged with affray after being Tasered by police.
Paul Smith, aged 46, was arrested at his home in Ham Close, Ham on Sunday night following an incident at the property.
Police are understood to have used a Taser weapon on Smith after he is alleged to have confronted officers wielding a hammer and a knife.
Smith was later charged with affray and released on bail. He will appear at Plymouth Magistrates Court on October 21.
