A PROLIFIC offender caught with a knife in the street has been jailed.
Chronic drug user Justin Hooks, aged 45, faced Plymouth magistrates to admit having a bladed article without good reason or lawful authority.
He had a carpet knife in Peverell Park Road on September 8.
Magistrates jailed Hooks, of Parsons Close in Plymstock, for 21 weeks.
The bench ruled that the offence was particularly serious because it happened in the early hours of the morning.
