A DAD who set up a cannabis farm at his home has been spared jail - because he was growing it to pay off his son's drug debts.
Stephen Phillips, 46, discovered his son owed a dealer £3,500 after he became hooked on crack cocaine.
He began growing the class B drug in order to settle the debts, with his farm worth up to #42,000.
