A MAN punched and broke the jaw of a stranger after he made a "cheeky" remark about his girlfriend, a jury was told.
Luke Butt, aged 30, launched an unprovoked attack on two friends in the street following a night out, a court heard.
Prosecutors said victim Thomas James had just told another man standing close to Butt's partner: "You are in for a good night."
Butt is then alleged to have twice punched Mr James in the face and then hit his friend Shane Pakeman, Plymouth Crown Court heard.
