A PERSISTENT thief who stole a bicycle has been jailed for almost four months.
John Liddicoat, aged 46, pleaded guilty before Plymouth magistrates to theft of the man's bike on August 16.
Liddicoat also admitted possession of just under a gram of amphetamine on September 2.
Magistrates jailed him for 16 weeks, ruling that the offence had been committed on licence following his release from prison.
The bench also stated that he had a history of similar offences.
