A ROYAL Marine was found to have sexually assaulted a young girl after vile images and movies of the abuse were discovered on his phone.
Lance Corporal Robert Wilson, 34, sexually assaulted the girl on a number of occasions.
Jason Beal, for the Crown Prosecution Service, said distressing pictures and videos were found on Wilson's mobile telephone when he was drunk and he made a comment about children which caused the person he was with to become suspicious about him.
