Two men have been fined for attacking a city councillor in a Plymouth pub.
Andrew Pearse, aged 47, and 52-year-old Mark Young assaulted city councillor Michael Sparling at the Melbourne in Stonehouse.
Pearse grabbed Cllr Sparling in the corridor outside the toilets and knocked him against the wall, Plymouth Crown Court heard.
Both men then launched an attack including a kick on the councillor outside the pub in November 2015.
Young then stole the sim card from Cllr Sparling's mobile...
