A man who shot someone in the face with a paintball gun in an argument over tobacco has been let off without punishment.
Dwight Read, 22, was sentenced today after pleading guilty to assaulting Jamie Andrews by beating on June 28 this year.
The two were attempting to settle a dispute over some missing tobacco when the incident happened in Torpoint's Sainsbury's car park, The Herald's sister title Cornwall Live reports from Bodmin Magistrates' Court today.
