A 15-year-old has died after taking a 'legal high' drug in a park, police said today.
Officers issued a statement about the incident and urged parents to speak to their children about the dangers of drugs.
The girl died after taking the 'psychoactive substance' at Baker's Park in Newton Abbot.
Police were informed by ambulance at 4:50am today that they had taken a 15-year-old girl to Torbay District Hospital who was unconscious after taking an unknown substance.
