Police are keen to hear from witnesses after reports that a man assaulted a child outside a restaurant on the Barbican. Officers were called to the area outside Platters Restaurant on Saturday, June 24, following an incident alleged to have taken place between 1.15pm and 2pm.As a result of inquiries a 24-year-old Plymouth man was arrested on suspicion of assault and has been released under investigation pending further inquiries.
