A Plymouth pensioner has been jailed for sexually abusing two boys in the Army cadets in the 1970s.
Former officer George Walker, aged 79, put his hand down a young recruit's trousers – supposedly so he would stop slouching, a court heard.
He was jailed for five years and three months after he was convicted at trial.
The victim told Preston Crown Court his life had been "ruined", according to the Lancashire Telegraph.
