Murder detectives have been granted a custody extension allowing them to hold a suspect until 9pm tonight.
Officers from Plymouth's Major Crime Investigation Team are continuing to question a 54-year-old man arrested yesterday in connection with the suspicious death of a 64-year-old woman on May 25.
Police say the woman was found dead at an undisclosed address in Honicknowle and a post mortem later revealed that she sustained a number of unexplained injuries.
