Police have warned horse owners to be vigilant after horses grazing in a field near Wadebridge had their tails cut.
PCSO Clive Wherry, of Wadebridge Police, said the incident was distressing for the animals.

He said: "The cuts would indicate that a tool would have been used. The bones of the tails are okay and the hair will grow back, however it is concerning for the owner and distressing for the animals.
