The RSPCA is warning of a rise in the number of exotic pets being abandoned after a tarantula was found dumped at a motorway service station and a dead bearded dragon was dumped in a hedge in the Westcountry.
The bearded dragon was found by a passer-by who spotted the reptile in a hedge in Normandy Drive in Taunton last Thursday.
