A chronic drug addict has been jailed for stabbing a friend in his side after snatching his car keys.
Lee Pope, aged 27, attacked him with a large kitchen knife after the two shared drink and drugs, a court heard.
He then drove off in his Ford Focus and stole some petrol.
The victim escaped serious injury and did not even go to hospital until the next morning, Plymouth Crown Court heard.
