Friends of a man who claims he was touched indecently by a former Boys' Brigade leader have told a jury he told them of the abuse years before he contacted the police.
The complainant has already told the court he called a child protection charity 20 years after the alleged incident – when he saw footballers open up on television about the abuse they had suffered as children.
