A man in Devon was attacked by a stranger who asked him for the time before throwing acid in his face.
The victim, is in his 20s, has been left with facial injuries and burning to his eyes after being hit in the face with the corrosive liquid.
Police have issued an appeal for witnesses to the incident that took place on Holman Way, heading in the direction of the Lighter Inn, in Topsham, at 6.45am on Tuesday.
