A mother has appeared in court accused of assaulting and poisoning her daughter.
The city woman, aged 29, is charged with deliberately giving the baby a codeine-based drug.
She faced a judge to deny four counts of assault and one of administering a poison with intent between December 27 and December 31, 2014.
