A THUG punched, kicked and pushed over his drinking buddy after a play fight turned into real violence, a court heard.
Taylor Friend, aged 23, attacked the man when he swore at his grandmother following a night out, Plymouth Crown Court heard.
A judge told Friend that he had a history of violent offences, but suspended his prison sentence.
Recorder Nicholas Hall said: "There is a glimmer that you may actually see that getting drunk and trashing people is a nonsense."
