A SERIAL liar scammed an insurance company by claiming he had lost valuables in a burglary and on a bus, a court heard.Multiple fraudster Robert Rees, aged 37, inflated claims for a break-in and theft of a bag which he had left on public transport.Rees, who has a previous conviction for benefit fraud, tried to get his hands on more than £10,000, Plymouth Crown Court heard.But most of the money was not paid out after insurers smelt a rat.Recorder Jane Rowley said: "Clearly you are a...
