A man has been arrested after an armed police incident in Plymouth which closed a main road and side streets.
Armed police, a dog unit and police officers were called to Budshead Road at 2.35pm on Saturday after an alleged domestic incident at a property in the Whitleigh area.
Police closed off the busy Budshead Road at the junction with Taunton Avenue to allow officers to surround a property and establish a safe distance from the public.
