A Royal Marine strangled and raped a woman in his home after a row, a court heard.
Lee Fraser, aged 34, grabbed her around the neck and later raped her in his bed, a jury was told.
The alleged victim told a jury she repeatedly said no and tried to push him away.
She said: "I was just in shock, I did not really know what to do."
Fraser, of Ford Park Mutley, is on trial at Plymouth Crown Court after denying rape of the woman between June 4 and June 8, 2015.
