A Royal Marine has gone on trial accused of raping and assaulting a woman.Lee Fraser, aged 34, is facing a jury at Plymouth Crown Court.He has pleaded not guilty to raping the woman in the city between June 4 and June 8, 2015.Fraser, of Ford Park Road, Mutley, has also denied assaulting her causing actual bodily harm between the same dates.Judge Paul Darlow had the jury sworn and made some preliminary remarks.The Crown Prosecution Service is due to open its case tomorrow.Fraser was released on...
