A man who wielded a large machete in a busy Plymouth street has been handed a suspended prison sentence.Samuel Perry, aged 35, pleaded guilty to having a bladed article in public without reasonable excuse or lawful authority.Police were called to an incident in Alma Road in Milehouse on December 15 last year, Plymouth Crown Court heard.Armed officers shut the road just after 9am after an incident near the Citybus depot.
