Thieves have broken into an art gallery in Devon and stolen a very distinctive statue worth over £4,000. Artizan art gallery, on Lucius Street, Torquay, was broken into in the early hours of Saturday morning, when a block of wood and a metal pole was used to break a hole in the door.A one metre statue, by Brixham-based artist Elisabeth Hadley, was taken in the break-in at 1.50am.
