A Royal Navy sailor has told a jury that he did not rape a woman as she slept.Able seaman Callum Fennell, aged 25, wiped away the tears as told his trial that he believed that she was making noises and movements in bed which suggested consent to sex.He said that he only knew about the complaint of rape the next morning when he received an angry text from the woman's mother.The woman had earlier told Plymouth Crown Court that she woke up in the early hours to find Fennell having sex with her.She...
