A man has gone on trial accused of sexually abusing three girls over 15 years.Nicholas Wickett, aged 56, faced a jury at Plymouth Crown Court charged with eight counts of rape, attempted rape and indecent assault.The trial started on Tuesday but Wickett was taken to hospital before the case could be opened.He was expected to be discharged from Derriford Hospital today.Recorder Richard Stead sent the jury home until tomorrow.Wickett, of Alexandra Road, Mutley, pleaded not guilty to one count of...
