A man is to face a judge and jury accused of a serious assault in a pub.Alex Bowen, aged 21, had denied attacking and badly injuring a man at the Union Inn in Tavistock.He pleaded not guilty at Plymouth Crown Court to malicious wounding, causing grievous bodily harm without intent, on July 16.Judge Paul Darlow set down a trial for March 21 next year.Bowen, of Skylark Rise, Whitchurch near Tavistock, was released on conditional bail.He must not contact any prosecution witness, nor go to the pub...
