A Plymouth-based Royal Marine jailed for killing a Taliban insurgent in Afghanistan is today due to find out if he will spend Christmas at home, after the case was adjourned last week.
Senior judges are due to decide if Sergeant Alexander Blackman, who served with 42 Commando, will be granted bail after an independent review found there was a "real possibility" his
conviction for murder could be quashed.
