A man was due to appear in court in Plymouth today after armed police were sent to reports of a hammer attack in a restaurant.A 50-year-old suffered serious head injuries on Friday during the outbreak of violence at a bistro.Police were called shortly before 4pm to reports a man had been assaulted at the at the No 9 Bar and Bistro in Northumberland Place, Teignmouth.The injured man was taken by ambulance to Torbay Hospital.READ NEXT: The day justice caught up with killer in brutal Plymouth...
