A volunteer worker stole almost £500 from a charity shop in what a judge branded a "distasteful" crime. Gemma McCaffrey, aged 34, took cash from St Luke's Hospice over ten days, Plymouth Crown Court heard. She pilfered sums adding up to £474 on five occasions from the Honicknowle shop where she worked.
