Police are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian and a car collided in Compton tonight.The man, described as being in his 50s, is understood to have been crossing the road near the Bluebird public house in Eggbuckland Road at around 6.30pm when he collided with a blue Mazda 6.Paramedics from the South Western Ambulance Service and police have attended the scene and the man was later taken to Derriford Hospital suffering minor injuries.
