More than 14,000 children were arrested in Devon and Cornwall in five years, new figures have shown.According to prison reform campaigners, the number of youngsters aged 17 and under who were arrested by Devon and Cornwall Police in 2010 was one of the highest in England.But by 2015, it had dropped by 69% to become one of the lowest.The fall follows a successful campaign by the Howard League for Penal Reform to keep as many boys and girls as possible out of the criminal justice system.Figures...
