The trial of a man accused of raping a woman on her sofa while her children slept upstairs has collapsed.The jury deciding the fate of 28-year-old Russell Large at Plymouth Crown Court has been discharged for legal reasons.Large, formerly of Alexandra Road in Mutley, denies raping the woman in her city home on January 28 last year.But his trial was abandoned on its second morning.Judge Paul Darlow adjourned the case for a date for a new trial to be set.Large, now living in Wharncliff Road,...
