Police have begun an investigation into a suspected rape after an incident was reported to them during the early hours of this morning.
Scenes of crime officers were this morning conducting a fine search of the area around Park Lane, on Torquay harbourside, after a suspected rape.
Officers formed a line and were combing the area in the lane which runs behind the Queens Hotel and Park Lane nightclub.
