A six-year-old boy needed stitches to his ear after he was attacked by a dog on Bovisand beach, police say.Investigators are now hunting the owners of the alsatian dog which bit the youngster before running off. Witnesses say the boy was attacked at about 4.15pm on Sunday, September 18.The dog appeared to be without its owner and was not wearing a lead when it attacked.
