A judge has halted a trial in which two brothers were accused of threatening men with a gun.Eddie, aged 47. and 52-year-old Mark Fitzgerald were charged with pistol-whipping a friend with a handgun.They then allegedly pointed a gun at the head of a second man, Plymouth Crown Court heard.Judge Paul Darlow discharged the jury from returning verdicts on four counts on the second day of the trial.The Crown Prosecution Service is to press for a retrial.The Herald is unable to explain the reasons for...
