Heartless thieves have stolen a championship medal that belonged to England's first black rugby player from a Plymouth home.The gold medal was presented to James Peters in 1908 by the chairman of Plymouth Albion and is of major historical sporting significance.It was stolen from the home of Peters' 85-year-old granddaughter in Mount Batten Way, Plymstock, along with her engagement ring, sometime between May 21 and June 3.After gaining entry the thieves stole a host of jewellery including a gold...
