Hungry cops have had their knuckles rapped after they parked in a taxi rank to grab a spot of dinner.
The photo was sent to The Herald by an aggrieved Hackney carriage taxi driver who's friend spotted the large police carrier parked in the clearly signed taxi bay at the Ridgeway car park in Plympton.
The council-owned car park allows for free parking and is adjacent to the Co-operative store car park, which is also free to customers.
