DOZENS of police officers, including armed officers and the police helicopter were called to reports of a person being shot in Central Park – by a hoaxer.
The call came in as a 999 call at 5.10pm today, stating that someone had been shot.
Several police vehicles were seen to race up Alma Road and Outland Road to an area near Home Park.
Paramedics from South West Ambulance Service were also called to attend as was the National Police Air Service (NPAS) Exeter helicopter.
