A Plymouth driver has been jailed after trying to outpace the police in a 100mph motorway chase with no tyres on his car.
A police helicopter filmed the terrifying chase in which sparks and pieces of burning tyre could be seen flying off James O'Reilly's car as it carried on down the M5.
All four tyres were burst when police deployed a stinger device on near Cullompton and the car nearly hit a lorry as the driver struggled to keep control.
