A MAN who punched a dog in the head has been ordered to do unpaid work.Michael Goldsmith, aged 33, admitted before Plymouth magistrates to causing unnecessary suffering to a Stafford Terrier.He struck the dog in the head in the city on April 6, the court heard.Goldsmith also pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage to a front room window in Scott Avenue on the same day.The cost of repairing the window is not known.Magistrates handed Goldsmith a 12-month community order with 80 hours of unpaid...
