CROOKS broke into a car in Brent Tor and made off with a handbag, say police
The thieves struck the grey Skoda car sometime between 1.30pm and 1.45pm on July 22 while it was parked in the Brent Tor area.
The offenders smashed the front passenger side and snatched the handbag which had been left in the footwell.
A police spokesman said: "Would residents ensure that they remove all items of value, do not leave anything on display and report any suspicious activity around parked vehicles...
