POLICE believe a distinctive bike stolen in Tavistock may have been hurled into a nearby river.
The white-framed Rockhopper model, made by the company Specialised was ripped from a wooden fence in Parkwood Road, Tavistock sometime between December 1 to December 2, taking the lock with it.
The bike has red markings on the front spokes and only has suspension on the front wheel. Police believe the bicycle may have been seen dumped in the river in the town area, but when officers went to check it...
